A Journey to Jewelry
From early childhood, I was obsessed with crafts and miniatures, and one of my hobbies was carving small sculptures in chalk. My journey began in Bogotá, Colombia, where I grew up and later earned a degree in Fine Arts with a focus on painting and sculpture. Wanting to continue my studies, I moved to New York—where my path took an unexpected turn when I discovered the art of jewelry making. It instantly brought together my love of miniatures, sculpture, and painting into a single craft, and I never looked back.
Driven by this new passion, I traveled to Florence, Italy where I studied jewelry design and graduated from Le Arti Orafe Jewelry School. After graduating, I was fortunate to train under the tutelage of master goldsmiths and to work at Fratelli Piccini, one of the oldest and most respected ateliers on the Ponte Vecchio, beneath the Vasari Corridor. During this formative period, I also had the memorable experience of working in Sicily with a rare collection of ancient Sciacca coral.
After five years in Italy, I returned to New York, where I worked for a couple of fine jewelry designers on bespoke, high-end pieces. With the birth of my son, I began working freelance for a few jewelry companies, expanding my experience across different styles and approaches. This period ultimately inspired me to establish my own business.
Today, working from my studio in Livingston, New Jersey, I design and create one-of-a-kind and limited-edition jewelry collections. finding inspiration in nature and gemstones, my work balances contemporary design with a classic sensibility. I’ve always been drawn to the contrast of silver and gold, a combination reflected throughout my pieces. I especially enjoy carving organic forms in wax and transforming precious metals, pairing them with the natural beauty of gemstones to create timeless pieces that tell a story
IT'S ALL ABOUT APRÈS
My latest collection is a personal tribute to my love of jewelry and another passion that invigorates my spirit: skiing. I first fell in love with skiing in Switzerland and now spend winter weekends skiing with my family in Vermont. Inspired by long days on the slopes and the warmth of gathering by the fire afterward, the collection is designed to be both sophisticated and playful. Crafted in 18k gold vermeil and sterling silver, the stackable designs invite you to mix, layer, and make a statement that’s uniquely your own.
